On Monday (departure day!) 20.August we arrange a sightseeing trip on the Hogsfjord and Lysefjord to visit the famous Pulpitrock (Prekestolen). The comfortable Helggoy Express will pick us up on the dock close to where MS GANN will be moored before we leave in the evening. Helgoy Express will take you quickly to the Lysefjord so you can view the Pulpit rock from the seaside. It will not be possible to visit the top since it will be 600meters above.
Captain Jon Arne Helgoy and his crew will guide you, and Jon Arne is famous for his stories and humor. During the trip we will make a short stop a few places, one to serve you fresh water directly from a waterfall and the other to feed some cute goates living in the wilderness far away from people.
The Pulpitrock will be visible in the new Hollywood movie "Mission Impossible" which will be released this summer. You can see where Tom Cruise did his climb on the cliff. Not for the faint-hearted. The filmcrew spent 14 days shooting the scenes and we think (hope!) it will an important part of the movie. See it for yourself!
The trip starts at 18.00 and we will return at 20.30, well before we leave Stavanger to start on the Woodturningcruise.

NOTE: this trip is arranged the day we sail so you must be sure you will arrive in time. Check in can be done from 15.00 hours so you will have time to check in and find your cabin.
